Last Weekend Part 3: BBQ and Game night

(August 31, 2008) My friend Tara (blog) and Jon invited us over to their house for a Labor Daybor BBQ. As always the food was great! Jon's sister made homemade cookie ice cream sandwiches. They were to die for. After the bbq I rushed home to shower up and clean for the next in the nights festivities, game night.

Cazi, Nancy, Stephanie, Jenna and I met up around 7pm for some gaming action. We started it off with some Rum and Cokes(one of my fav's).

As unfair as it was, we decided to play guys vs girls most of the night. We played catchphrase, Taboo, and MadGab(?). My team only lost twice the whole night, BRING IT! It was a fun night.

Last Weekend Part 2: Rory and Kristi's Wedding

(August 30, 2008) Rory got married! We drove down to Carmel Mountain Ridge Country Club to attend the reception after the private beach wedding.




As always we got our dance on. Great story of the night: A clever game by the DJ was like hot potato with a napkin around the table and Aaron ended up with the napkin, turned out it was a good thing, he became the "Power Pointer" anytime the DJ needed someone the tables' Power Pointers had the power to send people out. So first task was to send Cazi and Nancy out to the dance floor (See Photo). The next task was unknown and Cazi was chosen again, but being a POOR SPORT denied the power and I was feeling pretty drunk risky so I decided to take one for the team and go out there. It turned out to be a really fun game of musical chairs with a twist, it was a scavenger hunt. Really fun game, I ended up losing on the "MasterCard" one, even tried to cheat by ripping Luke out of his chair but unfortunately he took the chair with him :)

Last Weekend Part 1

(August 29, 2008) Man, I have been crazy busy the last few weeks, a lot has been going on. Last weekend started out with a movie night at my house. Cazi, Stephanie, Nancy, and Jenna came over to partake. This was the first time I met Jenna. Movie of the week: Next, starring Nicolas Cage and hottie Jessica Biel.



I had seen the movie before so I knew that everyone else would really enjoy it, especially the twist at the end. So whats a movie night like without food? I made pizza.



After the movie the three girls rode around on the scooters, all in all it was a really fun night.
