So my Monday morning routine includes going to Chevron not for gas, but for a soda and banana nut muffin. Today I thought I'd mix it up a little and get the Rockstar Roasted Coffee & Energy Drink I saw as I walked in. I was skeptical at first, only once ever liking the taste of an energy drink, but what did I have to lose? Verdict: So yum! I tasted like a starbucks frappachino mocha. Needless to say I was wired during our Monday morning staff meeting. If costco has this flavor in bulk, I may have to take another loan on my house, soooooooo good.

Nice little walk around town

Yesterday my coworker and I made a pact that we would exercise every day for 32 days, I added to my pact that I would give up fried foods for that period too(with the exception of buffalo wild wings on thursday nights). My two favorite foods is Chicken Strips and French Fries, and both are extremely unhealthy, so I should loose some weight this month. We also agreed that if we screw up, and not exercise or give into our excluded foods, we would pay the other $10 for each infraction and start our 32 days over.

So, last night I had to work the council meeting and got home at 9:00pm tired of working since 7:30am. Then I thought, I need to exercise, I cant screw up on the first day. So I decided to go for a walk. I put on my mp3 player with my audio book and set off on foot for Alta Murrieta Dr. I walked north to Whitewood and walked south to Murrieta Hot Springs Road and back to Alta Murrieta Dr. When I googled it, I found out it was 3 miles, it was a good workout, my back did alright. Tonight I plan on adding the bowflex to the workout to make it a full body workout.

Easter at my house

Today was fun. New house + Wii = Easter at Jonathan's! I cooked my very first ham ever and we all made ham sandwiches (BTW I'm gonna be eating ham for the next 3 and a half months) After lunch we turned on the Wii which everyone loved. Its such an awesome party game. Again my sister killed everyone as usual, my mom tied the high score, and little Seth (my nephew, see above) came in second once(i think).

Finally, my new home doesnt look like a repo. No grass! In this day and age with the drought and water conservation, I couldn't bring myself to install grass and waste water. Each plant has a drip line going to it so no water is wasted. Plants need minimal water, palm trees added on both sides. Looks really cool, I'm very happy with it.
