Favorite part:
"They got to have a steering wheel, there is minimum crew requirement. "
"Whats the minimum crew?"
"One I suppose."

Thats what it looks like on a binary clock, it took me two weeks to finally remember to look at it at 11:11 and 11 seconds.

Coincidentally, this photo is also the first I've uploaded to flickr and used on my blog using my new EyeFi card. Im sure I'll blog about the EyeFi card soon enough, but until then check out the EyeFi website.

Co-S.O.T.W. Apologize by Timbaland and One Republic

8:58 AM

My first co-song of the week. This week two songs have been stuck in my head. This one by One Republic with the beats and mixing by Timbaland. It's a sweet song, I wish they had a whole cd like this song.

9 Words That Don't Mean What You Think

8:54 AM

The English language is under assault by stupid people who use words they don't understand, and is defended by pompous asses who like to correct those people. What makes this site awesome is the use of female models on the right, and the photos below each summary.

Remember, Remember the 5th of November

10:04 PM

RonPaulDonate, originally uploaded by jonathanerichall.

We did it. 36,672 different people donated on November 5th and broke the record for the most money raised for a candidate in one day. I am putting my Republican primary support behind Ron Paul, his views on immigration, social security, everything! Check out his site, it only takes an hour to read through all the issues and after you do, I'll be surprised if you don't want to support him.

Cazi said it best:

I support Ron Paul because he stands for the constitution, has a consistent voting record and has been against the unjustified and undeclared war in Iraq since day one. Instead of throwing more money at the war so as not to have to admit failure like our current president, he would bring our troops home. He, much like our founding fathers, does not see the role of government as one of policing the world and getting into nation building.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

SOTW - Rite of Spring

9:49 PM

The new cd "I-Empire" from Angels and Airwaves is out. It's just as great as the first cd, same sound except a little faster beat. My favorite track on it is Rite of Spring, number 11 on the cd. The song is about his dreams growing up, his crappy childhood and if he could do it again. The song's idea is close to the Blink 182 song "Stay together for the kids." Its great, encouraging kids that even if they have shitty childhood moments, that they can still achieve their dreams.

Chorus:
If I had a chance for another try,
I wouldn’t change a thing
This made me all on who I am inside
And if I could thank god
That I am here, and that I am alive
And everyday I wake
I tell myself a little harmless lie
The whole wide world is mine

Where's my gPhone?

8:25 PM

I want my cellphone to let me surf the internet all day without having to charge the damn thing, but for it to make pizza that would be cool too.

As I thought, Google isn't actually gonna sell a Google brand phone like Apple and their iPhone. Google is first and foremost an ad company, second a search company(to sell ads), and third a software creator(to sell brand recognition). What I imagined all along that they have plans to create software for a phone, software that would kick Apple's ass. With open source programs running on an open source operating system, this means you'll be able to choose from 1,000's of phones on any wireless provider. Why it kicks ass for me? I own some stock in a company called IDCC, and they own most if not all of the 3G patents which all these hundreds of phones will need to license to provide the next generation speeds for internet over the cellphone.

Monday, Google blogged about it:

Despite all of the very interesting speculation over the last few months, we're not announcing a Gphone. However, we think what we are announcing -- the Open Handset Alliance and Android -- is more significant and ambitious than a single phone. In fact, through the joint efforts of the members of the Open Handset Alliance, we hope Android will be the foundation for many new phones and will create an entirely new mobile experience for users, with new applications and new capabilities we can’t imagine today.

Noam Chomsky on "Concision" in the US Media

Monday, November 5, 2007 12:58 PM

It's not often that I post videos that are not of the comedy genre. Today this video is educational. Noam Chomsky is a writer, I've read many of his books during my Communication degree program at CSUSM. What he has to say is very interesting and I believe is the reason politics are so screwed up in America when it comes to the media.
The influence government has on the media is one thing, watch the video below and see a theory on how economics is affecting the media from giving you all the facts.

I have finished the Harry Potter books!

Sunday, November 4, 2007 9:39 AM

A few months ago when the 7th Harry Potter book came out, that I would experience what so many have already done...to enjoy the Harry Potter books. But never a fan of actually reading books, my mind wonders and have to constantly read the same page 15 times, I decided to get the unabridged Harry Potter audiobooks. The audio books were read by Jim Dale, a master of voices. People have made fun of me that I've listened to the books rather than read them, but this is what I have to say: I think listening to them was better than if I read them. Jim Dale does voices, which allows the characters to better come across than learning which character said the line at the end like "....., says Ron." Anyway, I loved the movies, and I loved the books ten fold. I've learned that no other way of storytelling can express the feelings of the character like the book. Hell, listening to each book was around 20 hours each and with movies, you cant express like you can in a book that Harry was truly willing to die in like every book. I strongly recommend the books if you haven't already read them, they are simply amazing.

A nation of sheep.

I wonder how the the government allows this video on youtube. Also, VERY surprising that it was shown on fox news, the last network you would think would air it.
