Movies I've Already Enjoyed This Summer
Transformers:
Why: Probably the best movie of the summer, intense action.
Knocked Up:
Why: Probably the best comedy of the summer.
Live Free or Die Hard:
Why: I love computer crime, and this movie is full of action and technology.
Mr Brooks:
Why: A great crime-thriller
Movies I am looking forward to seeing
Bourne Ultimatum:
Why: I loved the other two.
Simpsons, The Movie:
Vantage Point:
Why: I love who-done-it films, conspiracy films, and films about American Presidents.
I am Legend:
Why: I usually pass on Will Smith movies but I love apocalyptic end-of-days movies, similar to 28 weeks later.
Hitman:
Why: I love hitman movies, this one happens to be called Hitman. Never played the game but sequences on the trailer look awesome.
National Treasure 2:
Why: The first one surprised me, I think the second one will too.
Into the Wild:
Why: I love nature, adventure, and two other movies this Emile guy has done, "Firl Next Door" and "Alpha Dog"
3:10 to Yuma:
Why: Christian Bale is an awesome actor, so is Russel Crowe. Plus its been a while since Hollywood made a great western, i.e. Tombstone.
Gone Baby Gone:
Why: I think Casey Affleck is a great actor, and what movie with Morgan Freeman hasnt been awesome?
I Know Who Killed Me:
Why: I have a thing for Lindsay Lohan.
1-18-08 (or J.J. Abrams untitled project)
Why: Trailer looks sorta lame, but doesnt tell you what movie it is, genius marketing, similar to the "Who is Darkman" campaign.
American Gangster:
Why: Man on Fire.
Shoot Em Up:
Why: Just watch the trailer.

Grocery Shopping
Monday, July 16, 2007 10:52 PM
As some of you know, today I started my 12-week Body-for-life mental and physical challenge. I purchased the book and the success journal and dedicated the next 12 weeks to giving myself the best birthday present ever, a slim muscular body, loads of self confidence(hell some would be great), and a whole new outlook on life.
Today I went to the grocery store with my environment friendly shopping bags (only a dollar, save the environment) to purchase some food for the next week(s). The products you see above may shock some of you(at least my mom and dad), these are the products I have NEVER purchased in my lifetime.
From left to right:
- "Regular" oatmeal, I usually go for the banana nut or maple syrup.
- Diced pears, I like pears actually, i figure this makes it easier to take to work, not a big stretch.
- PAM, not a big stretch either, but it shows my commitment to healthy COOKING, which me cooking by itself is a shocker to most.
- Can of Corn, gotta eat some veggies, and corn tastes pretty good.
- Probably the most shocking....yogurt. I know, sometimes I amaze myself. Actually, a little known fact....I've never tried yogurt, I've always said I didn't like it yet never really tried it. I'm challenging myself on this one.
- And last but not least, frozen strawberries. These will go good with the bananas and soy milk i bought, mix it up, its good :)
I bought other things too but for one, im tired, and for two, nobody really cares. Lets hope I can wake up tomorrow morning to go to the gym. Nite!

Closet and dresser organization: my relaxing weekend.
10:54 AM
Each box was like $20, I thought one box wouldn't be enough but I was wrong, one box was PLENTY. Purchasing those hangers inspired me to finally organize my dresser drawers and closet. These hangers are far more superior than the cheapy 99-cent-for-12-walmart-white-plastic-hangers. The crossbars support my heavy jeans as well as supports the shoulders of my collared shirts, plus they look bad-ass expensive and sweet all looking and facing the same way.
Organizing my dresser drawers was a fun project too. Two weeks ago we got our big shipment of ink cartridges for work, which came in large boxes. That meant I could finally make a t-shirt folding machine that Cazi blogged about a month ago. Check out the video a "folding expert" describing three different ways to fold your tshirts, the last of which is using the folding machine that Cazi and I made:
It was fairly easy to make, whats nice is when its folded up, it stores conveniently anywhere, like on the side of the dressers, under the bed, or perhaps in the closet. To give more room in my closet for the collared shirts, I decided to fold all my normal tshirts like I've been doing with my white undershirts I wear underneath my collared shirts. I fold the shirts in half one more time after I fold them using the folding machine. This way they store very nicely. The graphic that is normally displayed on the front of the shirt is now displayed on the fold of the shirt, making it very easy to know what shirt it is.
Everyone should have their own folding machine. And it cost me nothing!

Camping in Lake Hemet: July 2007 trip
Monday, July 9, 2007 12:46 PM
This past weekend my dad and I took the RV back to lake Hemet for some camping and fishing. I did catch a fish, and my dad caught 2 (smaller) fish. muhahaha. This weekend was also my first chance to try out my new Garmin Forerunner 305. It's a GPS enabled heart rate monitor. I bought it for working out, biking, and hiking. The garmin watch also hooks into my computer, showing me my heart rate at every point of the ride. It also overlays my path on a map. Sometime this week I'll try exporting it to Google Earth to get a better visualization of my bike rides.

Check out the flicker stream.
