After talking about it for 80 something years, he finnaly pulled the trigger and practically "stole" this 1997 Safari Serengeti 40' Class A Diesel Pusher for a smokin' good deal. The thing is awesome. Now I can camp out with my friends at work and not literally freeze my ass off.

I stopped at a red light. Guy behind me didnt. :)

Its important to note that although the back of the Audi is toast, my kick ass license plate seems to have not been touched. I'm thinking it has healing powers like Clair Bennett from Heroes.

As for me, my neck is sore and so is my back, I'll go get checked out today, maybe give a call to Larry H. Parker, I could use 2.1 million.

I once was blind, tomorrow I will see.

Thursday, May 3, 2007 12:10 PM

I've worn contacts and glasses longer than I haven't. Tomorrow I am going to be getting the All-laser Lasik surgery from Dr. David J. Schanzlin, M.D., a professor and refractive surgeon at the UCSD medical center. Choosing Dr Schanzlin above all other doctors I considered was the fact that It's at the UCSD medical center, that they will have the latest technology available. They also ran me through several eye tests, using the CustomVue process and only then when my results were calculated told me I was a candidate. Ive been told I was a candidate before but only after a simple eye test, those guys were probably just trying to get me signed up.

Anywho... my appointment is tomorrow at 1pm for surgery at 2pm. They told me it only takes a few minutes and after a 3-4 hour nap I should be able to see! wooo hoooo! For the first time in my memory I will be able to wake up and read the alarm clock. Now I can finally get that clock that projects onto the ceiling! I'll be able to open my eyes underwater without the fear of losing a contact and becoming blind. I'll be able to watch a movie at midnight without my contacts drying out. I can't wait.

Steve gets new digs

Wednesday, May 2, 2007 12:10 AM

After seeing how I never changed Steve's(my beta) water as often as I should, my boss upgraded Steve's little apartment to a awesome penthouse condo, complete with filter, broken columns, and colorful rocks. Today another coworker brought in some tetras for Steve to eat play with. Right away we were missing two tetras. We thought Steve ate them, we couldn't find them anywhere....hmmmmmm. When I took out the camera to take a pic of Steve and his new digs and roomates, the other two showed up. Either they pulled a Jonah or somehow hid under the rocks. Steve looks like he's having a lot of fun playing tag!
